The scientists learn of interest among the large cosmetic firms to use their cellular activator, EGF, in skin care products.

The construction of BIOEFFECT's 2,000m2 state-of-the-art greenhouse is completed. BIOEFFECT is the first skin care brand with its own greenhouse.

The BIOEFFECT story begins with the launch of BIOEFFECT EGF SERUM in Iceland, the first skin care product to contain cellular activators made in plants. Within a year, it was used by 25% of Icelandic women.

BIOEFFECT EGF SERUM is selected by The Independent newspaper as one of the five most exciting innovations at the international In-cosmetics Exhibition in Paris.

BIOEFFECT BODY INTENSIVE launches to target problem areas on the body such as dryness and patchiness.

BIOEFFECT takes center-stage at Vogue's Fashion Night Out event at Colette in Paris.

BIOEFFECT launches 30 DAY TREATMENT, an intensive anti-ageing boost that contains three different cellular activators.

Launch of three new BIOEFFECT products: BIOEFFECT VOLCANIC EXFOLIATOR, BIOEFFECT DAYTIME for dry skin and BIOEFFECT EGF DAY SERUM.

BIOEFFECT announced Best New Beauty Line in 2014, at Belgium's prestigious Weekend Beauty Awards.
